I'm not sure what you mean by "E-Dictionary," but if you simply mean a Japanese-English dictionary, I just use the Yahoo! Japan website. It's adequate for any casual use, and for research, you probably need a dedicated electronic dictionary anyway.
Mnemosyne may have a web version soon, which would then also be usable on the iPod/iPhone.

If your Japanese is fairly proficient you can also buy the famous dictionaries off of the Japanese store. They run about 2000-4000 yen each, but of course they're much better than the free dictionaries.
